Kittens are up to 1 year of age, and are irresistibly cute and full of trouble. Many people wish to adopt kittens to enjoy the adorable phases, but they can sometimes be more trouble than bargained for. Kittens can lack the training and discipline of an older cat making them experts at pushing the limits of your patience. Kittens may need to be trained to use litter boxes or scratching posts and children may need to be trained how to handle a kitten. While we are all tempted by the cuteness of a fuzzy kitten face, we need to consider the practicalities of keeping one prior to bringing it home.
