DFPR rescues cats from local shelters and owners who can no longer keep their cats for a variety of reasons. Our goal is to place these cats with loving forever families that will provide affectionate homes with proper veterinary care. DFPR specializes in rehoming Exotic Shorthairs, Himalayans, Maine Coons, Ragdolls, Siamese, Snowshoes, Persians and  some mixed breed cats.

Soon kitten season will be here. We here at DFPR know that this not only means plenty of unwanted kittens, but also unwanted mothers or older cats. This is the hardest time of year for us. While everyone wants a kitten, it takes a lot of time and money in order for us to provide vetrinary care like spaying/neutering each kitten, as well as make sure they are vacinated and micro chiped.
